Lately...

So Emily, why did you start blogging if you weren't going to post any new blogs?  Well, that is a good question.  Let me answer by showing a few pictures.  Shortly after I posted last, this happened:
My Pile O' Stuff
My parents cleaned out their storage facility in Branson, so they brought all of my stuff down here.  A lot of it was stuff that I had thrown into storage when I packed up to go to Doulos.  Aside from kitchen utensils and some superfluous decorations, many of these tubs contain mementos that are worth more to me than anything else I own.
Keepsake I've had practically since birth...
Have to ask my mom about the story on this one
Four Generations:
Great Grandma Lupe, Grandma Roque
Mom and me (I think I must be around 9 in this pic)
Grandmother's wedding ring!

Bible I used all through Jr. High and High School
Precious "forever" Friends
High School Graduation, 2001
College Graduation:
BA in Music Performance, 2006
The thing that I miss the most about being in Papua New Guinea is the scuba diving.  I finally found my old log book.  Here is an entry from when I went on a night dive on a ship wreck called the Henry Leath.
From the depth of the sea to the wild blue yonder...This is from when I was taking flying lessons and took my first solo flight.  Tradition states that you cut off your shirt tail and mark down the date to commemorate the occasion.

As much as I enjoyed seeing reminiscing, I am so thankful that it is over and I can get back to real life.  All that's left is to put the remaining boxes up into the attic.
